Editorial & Communications Services
I offer editorial and communications consultancy to publishers, authors, literary agents, brands and organisations across books, culture and ideas. From developing book proposals and refining manuscripts to delivering communications campaigns, facilitating events and creating brand partnerships, I help bring strong ideas to life and connect them with the right audiences.

I work with publishers, authors and organisations to ensure manuscripts and other materials represent people, cultures and experiences accurately, thoughtfully and respectfully. My expertise includes mixed-race representation, Caribbean and Jamaican heritage, Black popular culture, Black British identity and history, African American and Caribbean history, mental health, abusive relationships, generational trauma, and classics and historical retellings. I also offer sensitivity reading in French, Spanish and Italian, culturally informed feedback on non-English manuscripts, and consultancy on inclusive editorial policies and diversity and inclusion guidelines.

Editing & Editorial Consultancy

I work collaboratively with writers to strengthen ideas, refine voice and structure, and develop compelling, market-aware books.
Book Proposal & Manuscript Reviews
I offer tailored consultations for aspiring and established authors, helping them develop book concepts, refine manuscripts and create persuasive proposals for publishers and literary agents. Feedback covers structure, narrative, voice, positioning and audience.
Translation
As a Modern Languages Graduate (French, Spanish and Italian BA Hons), I am equipped to translate full and partial manuscripts and other written materials from French, Spanish and Italian into English, preserving the voice, meaning and cultural nuances of the original. I also work with a trusted network of translators to support publishers and organisations.

I work with literary agencies, agents and publishers to identify emerging and established writers with distinctive voices and strong publishing potential.
Previous talent-scouting clients include Bergstrom Studio, WME, C&W and The Good Literary Agency.

Previous appointments include the Crime Writers’ Association’s ALCS Gold Dagger for Non-Fiction Award, Penguin Random House’s Lit in Colour Creative Student Prize and the Dope Reader Club x GUAP Letter to a Womxn Competition. I also guest-edited Bad Form’s seventh issue, dedicated to Caribbean literature, and edited Grant Brydon’s Life Lessons from Hip-Hop (Dorling Kindersley, 2021). I have also been a reader for the Sareeta Domingo Prize and The Bloomsbury Fiction Mentorship Programme.
