Sensitivity Reading

Sensitivity Reading ✺

I have around five years of experience working with agencies, publishers, literary estates, institutions and organisations by providing authenticity and sensitivity reading services. This involves reading and assessing manuscripts and other written as well as audio-visual materials to ensure they are accurate and inoffensive, as well as guaranteeing that the material is solid in its authenticity and representation.

I have worked on fiction, non-fiction, classic literature, children’s and YA books as well as educational programmes, educational resource packs, editorial guidelines and more. Having formerly worked in the diversity and inclusion space, I bring this expertise as well as my editorial proficiency to this work.
